A local potter based in Montclair, NJ. My work is inspired by Japanese and Asian aesthetics, with a focus on clean forms and functional pieces that are also visually appealing. I work with a variety of clay bodies, exploring glazes and textures that feel earthy yet elegant, and intentional yet open to spontaneity. I enjoy using the pottery wheel, my hands, and other various tools to create during each step in the process. 

Pottery challenges me to grow in patience, embrace imperfection and unpredictability, find beauty in simplicity and appreciate the unexpected. When I am not making pottery, I enjoy traveling, going to cafes, and working as a healthcare provider.
