Miriam Reimer's ceramic work is inspired by the natural world, both its clean lines and beautifully messy drama of color. She focuses on functional pottery for the home and table, along with some decorative Raku pieces. Miriam has been working with clay since she was a teenager. Following several detours outside the world of pottery -- travel and adventure, a career in journalism, marriage and kids -- she found her way back to this calling. She teaches wheel throwing classes at Mud Clay Studio, and creates in her West Orange, NJ space, Glaze On Studio.
