Angela Yu
My work is informed by classic shapes and simple surface designs. I strive to make pots that have a sense of belonging, grounded by both its utility and form. I started pottery because of my love for interiors and a desire to create objects that would fit in my home. And so when I’m at the wheel, I think about where a pot might go. My favorites pieces have always been the ones that are quiet but steadfast, not always commanding attention but evocative nonetheless.
