I strive to capture and express the inherent natural physical qualities of the clay through form and texture. Simplicity has always been an important aspect of my thrown pieces. I am guided by the philosophy that " Less is More", allowing the viewer to interpret the form based on their own life experiences. The tactile experience of touching and holding the forms is also a vital part of the overall process.
